I. Matters needing attention


This product belongs to welding wire feeding equipment. In order toensure safe production and normal operation of the equipment, users are advisedto post the following safety signs on the equipment to inform all personnel whouse, maintain and approach the equipment to pay attention to the followingsafety matters.


1.1Electrical safety

① This equipment is powered by 220V AC, so users should pay attention to electricity safety to avoid electric shock.

② The four legs of this equipment are insulated support blocks. In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and avoid electrostatic injury and equipment leakage. Equipment should pay attention to safety grounding measures, that is, connect the easily conductive part to the protective (grounding) conductor in the fixed wiring of the product, so that the easily accessible conductive part will not become a live part when the basic insulation fails. Depending on the situation, additional safety measures can be taken.

(e.g. double insulation or reinforced insulation).

③The inside of the chassis of this product does not contain accessories thatneed user's operation. Any installation, maintenance and disassembly of thisproduct should be carried out under the


1.1Mechanical safety

① This equipment includes gears,rollers and other structures driven by motors, so as to avoid injury caused bytouching during operation.

② In the process of replacing thewelding wire reel, this equipment should avoid accidental starting and injury.


Second, the product overview

This machine is an auxiliary wire feeding device used in the field oflaser welding. The wire feeder is equipped with auxiliary wire breakingfunction. Support up to three wires at the same time. Suitable for carbon steeland stainless steel welding wires to meet the wire feeding requirements of mostlaser wire filling welding.

4, installation and use


4.1Equipmentwiring

The twoaerial plug-in interfaces on the back of the wire feeder are Control SignalInterface and Power Interface respectively. The power supply of wire feeder is220V AC input, and the specific scope shall be subject to the equipmentnameplate.

Wire feeding enable signal of wire feeder supports

① (relay) passive conduction signal and

②(mos tube) open-drain output signal output by welding control box.When using, press the [+,-] signs on the line label to connect the wiresaccordingly.

4.1.1   Selectionof wire feeding tube and wire feeding wheel

Please select thecorresponding wire feeding wheel and wire feeding tube according to the weldingwire material and diameter, and avoid bending the wire feeding tube when using.

4.2.2Welding wire reel installation

When installing the welding wire reel, attention should be paid to:

lSelecting welding wire according to welding material;

lThe welding wire passes through the center of the groove;

lUse wire feeding wheel matched with welding wire. For example, if 2.0mm welding wire is used, the side of the wire feeding wheel mark [V2.0] should face outwards;

lThe positioning hole of the welding wire reel should be aligned with the positioning pin of the damping shaft, so that the welding wire reel and the damping shaft can rotate smoothly, and the friction between the welding wire reel and the damping shaft can be avoided, resulting in unstable wire feeding.


4.2.3Installation of wire feeding tube

When installing the wire feeding tube, you should pay attention to:

lLoosen the locking screw and insert the wire feeding tube, so that the wire feeding tube does not rub against the wire feeding wheel and it is convenient to insert welding wire;

lLock the screw after inserting it in a proper position, and it is advisable to hand-drive the wire feeding tube without shaking.

4.2.4Assembly of wire feeding tube and welding head

Take the 21T hand-held welding torch as an example, and the wire feeding tube is assembled as shown below. It should be noted that:

l Selecte a corresponding connecting block accord to that model of the welding head;

l Make sure that the welding wire is stuck in the copper nozzle groove before locking the hexagon socket head screw.

The wire feeder is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1024x600.

V. Maintenance


5.1daily maintenance

Matters needing attention in daily use:

lEquipment shall be effectively grounded;

lProtect the touch screen to prevent the screen panel from being squeezed and bruised;

lInstall welding wire correctly, check and dredge it regularly to avoid friction caused by improper assembly, which will lead to metal chips blocking the wire feeding wheel box and wire feeding tube;

lWhen working in harsh environment, pay attention to waterproof and dustproof, and the equipment should not be soaked in water.


5.2Fault handling


5.2.1control logic

The wire feeder is connected to the 5/6 pin of the signal interface II of the control box through the two-core plug signal line at the tail (standard wire feeder

+/-), when welding light, the main board of the control box gives the wire feeding enable signal, the main control board of the wire feeder drives the single machine to run, and the wire feeder starts to work.

5.2.3Common anomalies and their treatment

1. Inconsistent wire feeding speed

The final wire discharging effect is influenced by the bending of wire feeding tube, welding wire assembly, motor quality and so on. On the premise of keeping the wire feeding tube straight, the "speed balance" parameters of each motor can be adjusted respectively to make the actual effect consistent.

2, the broken wire effect is inconsistent.

The difference of wire breakage between welding wires can be compensated by adjusting the "wire feeding length" respectively. 3, a single motor is abnormal

It may be that the port of the main control board is abnormal, the motor is faulty or the wiring is loose. Normal and abnormal motors can be cross-tested, as shown in "J2", "J11" and "J12" in 5.2.2. Further determine the fault point.

4. The overall wire feeder does not feed wire.

It may be a main control board fault or a line fault.

When troubleshooting the wire feeder, ensure that the wire feeding enable signal of the welding control box is normal.

It can be preliminarily judged whether the wire feeder is normal by observing the wire feeding enable signal on the Monitoring Page or Diagnosis Page of the welding system:

If after the trigger is pressed, the indicator light of Wire Feeding Enable Signal on the Monitoring Page of the welding system is on (green), but the wire feeder does not actually feed wire; Or enter the [Diagnosis Page] of the welding system, turn on the [Wire Feeding Enable] switch, and the theoretical output status light is on (green), but the wire feeder actually does not feed wire, so it is preliminarily judged that the wire feeder is not working normally.
