Thankyou for choosing Super Weiye Laser Double Pendulum Welding System. This usermanual provides you with important safety, operation, maintenance and otherinformation. Therefore, please read this user manual carefully before usingthis product.

Inorder to ensure safe operation and optimal operation of the product, pleaseobserve the following cautions and warnings and other information in thismanual.


1.Overview


Thismanual covers the basic installation, factory setting, operation andmaintenance service of SUP series double pendulum welding head products.

Theproduct covers double pendulum platform welding guns and self-developed controlsystems, and is equipped with multiple safety alarms and active safety poweroff and light off settings. This product can be adapted to various brands offiber lasers; the optimized optical and water-cooled design allows the laserhead to work stably for a long time under 2000W.

Features:

● Basic features: self-developed control system,with multiple security alarms, smaller size, flexible operation, and easy touse.

● More stable: All parameters are visible,real-time monitoring of the status of the whole machine, to avoid problems inadvance, more convenient to troubleshoot and solve problems, to ensure thestable operation of the welding head.

● Process: Process: all parameters are visible,the welding quality is more perfect, the deformation is small, and thepenetration is high.

● Stable parameters and high repeatability: thedetermined nozzle air pressure and lens state, as long as the laser power isstable, the process parameters must be repeatable. Greatly improve efficiency,while also reducing operator requirements.


1.1Operating environment and parameters


1.2Attentioninformation

(1) Ensure reliable grounding before supplyingpower.

(2) The laser output head is connected with thewelding head. Please check the laser output head carefully when using it to preventdust or other pollution. When cleaning the laser output head, please usespecial lens paper.

(3) If the equipment is not used in accordancewith the methods specified in this manual, it may be in an abnormal workingstate and cause damage.

(4) When replacing the protective lens, pleasemake sure to protect it.

(5) Please note: When using for the first time,when the red light cannot come out of the copper mouth, be sure not to emitlight.


2.Installation and connection

2.1 General definition of controllerwiring (see below for detailed definition explanation)

2.1.1 Controller power supply terminal

The powersupply terminal uses a 5P interface, and the supplied 24V switching powersupply and 15V switching power supply are used for power supply.

Please notethat the 15V switching power supply distinguishes the positive and negativepoles, V1 is connected to 15V+, V2 is connected to 15V-, and any COM on the 15Vswitching power supply is connected to pin 2 GND!

Please notethat the switching power supply must be grounded!

2.1.2 Controller LCD screen

The LCD screenwiring is included with the machine, just connect directly, the specificdefinition is shown in the figure above

2.1.3 Controller signal interface 1

Signalinterface 1 end uses 8P interface, ready for signal related

①/②Pin is theair pressure alarm signal input, if you need to enable (wiring required),please set the air pressure alarm level to high in the background, otherwise itis low

③/④Pin is thewater tank alarm signal input, if you need to enable (wiring required), pleaseset the water tank alarm level to high in the background, otherwise it is low

⑤The numberpin is the reference ground for the safety ground lock

⑥The No. pinis a safety ground lock of the welding head, and it is shorted to the No. 5corner

⑦The No. pinis the switch of the welding head

⑧The No. pinis the light switch of the welding head, and the No. 7 corner is controlled bythe user platform

Please notethat only when there is no alarm, and the signal of the safe lock and triggerbutton is on, the output signal of the subsequent port will be sent out

2.1.4 Controller signal interface 2

The 2 end ofthe signal interface uses a 6P interface, and the air valve is related to thewire feeding

①Pin is thelaser alarm signal input +. If you need to enable it (wiring is required),please set the alarm level to high in the background, otherwise it is low

③The pin is24V output, directly output 24V+ after power on

④Pin No. is acommon ground (reference ground for No. 1/2/3/5)

⑤The numberpin is analog quantity + output, the analog quantity is given

Note: The COM terminal of the ±15Vswitching power supply and the -V (0V) terminal of the +24V switching powersupply must be connected to GND. The shell of the switching power supply mustbe connected to the ground, otherwise abnormalities such as no light may occur.

2.3 Optical input interface

         SUPwelding head is suitable for most industrial laser generators. Commonly usedfiber connectors include IPG, Ruike, Chuangxin, Fibo, Tottenham, Jept, Kaplin,etc. The optics must be kept clean, and all dust must be removed before use.The torch head must be placed horizontally when the optical fiber is insertedto prevent dust from falling into the interface.

2.4 Shielding gas and water chiller interface

The water pipeand air pipe interface can be installed with a hose with an outer diameter of6MM and an inner diameter of 4MM,Water inlet and outletpipelineRegardless of the direction of entryand exitAs shown below

The coolingsystem is divided into the water circuit part of the welding head and the watercircuit part of the optical fiber head, which are connected in series, as shownin the figure below

2.5 Welding gun and control boxconnection interface

          The doublependulum welding head is connected with the control box through a DB25connection line. One side of the connecting wire is a male connector, and oneside becomes a female connector. The female head is connected with the controlbox, and the male head is connected with the welding head.


3.Control panel operation guide


Explain the software description with versionnumber 550, you can check the last three digits of the system version throughthe monitoring page

①In this interface, you can see the current processparameters (the process cannot be modified on this page) and instant alarminformation.

②When powered on Enable is ON by default, indicating thatthe red light is LINE by default, and the welding mode is continuous

   When the enable is turned off, the enablesignal will not be sent to the laser, which can be used to try out the gasfunction

Turn off the red light indicator, no power will besupplied to the motor. At this time, the red light is a point used to adjustthe center

The welding mode is divided into continuous and spotwelding. When spot welding is selected, the spot welding type needs to be seton the setting page

③The safety lock is divided into gray and green. When the5 and 6 pins of the signal interface 1 are short-circuited, the display isgreen. At this time, the light can be emitted by controlling the signal pin"welding head light switch 1, 2".

Precautions:

①The process interface contains the process parametersfor debugging. This version has a total of four graphics. Click the graphics toadjust the size and angle of the corresponding scan shape.

②The parameters of the craft page can be modified, clickthe input box to modify, click OK after modification, then save, and clickimport when using it (modify-save-import).

③Some lasers cannot emit light with a power lower than10%. When the peak power of the craft page is less than 10% of the maximumpower of the laser on the setting page, all output signals are normal, butlight may not be emitted.

④ The duty cycle is 100% by default, and usually does notneed to be changed. At this time, the pulse frequency does not work. If youneed to use it, please adjust it according to actual needs. Example: 300W peakpower, 50% duty cycle, and 1000Hz pulse frequency.

At this time, the light emission period is 1mS, 0.5mSemits light at 300W, 0.5mS does not emit light, and cyclically reciprocates. Atthis time, the air blasts at the welding place and abnormal noise is normal.The actual situation is subject to the laser parameters.

The laser power is the power of the laser used, please fill it incorrectly.

②The switch airdelay defaults to 200ms, and the range is 0ms-3000ms.

③When the lightis turned on, it gradually progresses from N1% of the process power to 100%;when the light is turned off, it gradually progresses to N2 from 100% of theprocess power; (as shown in the figure below).

Generally, the preset switching optical power is 20%, andthe switching optical progressive time is 200ms.

④Wire feeding delay compensation is the wire feedingadvance time relative to the light signal, which can be used in conjunctionwith the withdrawal function, and it is not set by default

⑤The maximum temperature alarm threshold is 65℃. When thevalue is set to 0, the temperature alarm will not be detected.

⑥Scancorrection coefficient range 0.01~4, coefficient target line width/measurementline width: generally 1.

⑦Lasercenter offset -3~3mm, reduce it and move it to the left, increase it and moveit to the right, used to adjust the axis of the red light center

⑧Theair pressure/water cooler/laser alarm level signal defaults to low level. Whenthis alarm signal is used, if an external air pressure alarm is installed,change it to high level to be effective, otherwise an abnormal alarm willoccur, other alarm signals The same is true.

⑨Spot welding duration is the light emitting time whenthe trigger is pulled, even if the button is released, the light will still beemitted according to the elapsed time (spot welding function)

⑩Spot welding interval time is the stop light timebetween two spot welding after pulling the trigger button (spot weldingfunction)

⑪Click the HELP button on the upper right to get morerelated parameter explanation.

This pagedisplays the status of each signal and device information. Please note thatthis monitoring interface will only be displayed when the setting interface isin Chinese, otherwise it will be the monitoring of other old versions

①Input signal status

Laser trigger signal: Press the hand-held weldingtrigger, the 7 and 8 pins of the signal interface 1 are turned on, and thestatus changes from gray to green to take effect.

Safely lock signal: safely clamp on theworkpiece. When the copper nozzle of the gun head touches the workpiece, thestatus will change from gray to green to take effect.

Laser/water cooler/air pressure alarm signal:monitor the real-time level status input from these interfaces.

②Output signal status

Whenthe signal is output, the signal in this area changes immediately and can bedirectly visualized. The monitoring signal is a real-time detection circuitsignal, which fluctuates within a certain range and has an error of less than0.3V from the final output signal.

③Basic equipment information

Deviceauthorization: The device can be authorized for the duration of use. When thedevice is used for more than the set time, the authorization is displayed asterminated. The factory default authorization is valid for a long time. If youneed encryption and decryption, please contact our company for inquiries.

Systemversion: three groups of numbers, the first group is the hardware version, thesecond group is the program version of the microcontroller, and the third groupis the touch screen version.

④Power state

Showsthe real-time power supply voltage and current of the device.

⑤Communication status

Thecommunication between the touch screen and the main board is displayed. Ifthere is no synchronization, check the screen connection line.

⑥Diagnosis

On the monitoring interface, click the "Diagnosis" buttonto enter the diagnosis interface. No light will be emitted at this time, and itis used to measure whether each signal port has an actual output, usually theoutput value is consistent with the detection value. When it is inconsistent,the load is abnormal, such as when the laser does not emit light, by switchinga single port and using the laser monitoring software or multimeter to measure,it can truly reflect whether the signal is sent out.


4.Maintenance


How to maintain and replace protective lenses:

① Before operation, please clean your hands andwipe them dry, and then wipe your hands again with cotton dipped in alcohol.

② Remove the screws of the protective lenscompartment cover in a relatively dust-free place, pull out the protective lensbracket, and protect it (covered by masking paper). Check the protective lens.If there is obvious burning on the surface of the protective lens, replace itdirectly.

③ Then check the white accumulating sealing ringunder the protective lens. (If there is any scratch or deformation of theaccumulating seal ring, it cannot be used and must be replaced immediately.

④ Wipe the compartment opening and the inside ofthe compartment cover with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol, quickly insert theprotective lens holder into the protective lens compartment, and tighten thescrews.


5.Common exception handling


5.1Prompt laser/water cooler/air pressure alarm

① If the above alarm occurs without using thealarm signal, please change the alarm level on the screen setting page.

② If the above alarm occurs when the alarm signalis used, check whether the alarm of the corresponding equipment or the high andlow levels of the alarm signal are set incorrectly.

5.2The screen does not light up/click no response

①The screen does not light up, if the controlleris powered on (the fan is rotating), check whether the four-core wire betweenthe controller and the screen is correctly wired, and whether the 24V voltageof pin 1 and pin 4 is normal

②If the click does not work during normal use,check whether the temperature of the whole machine is too high.

③Tap to fail to input, check whether thefour-core wire between the controller and the screen is correctly wired, andwhether the second and third pins are normal. For details, see 2.1.2 ControllerLCD screen end

④If the newly installed device clicks and thereis no response, it may be that the system version does not match, just re-swipethe program. Please ask our company for the SD card.

5.3No light

Normally, the failure of the air to feed the wireis due to the laser failure or the wiring problem. If the air is not fed andthe wire is not fed, it may be a signal preparation problem. For details, see:2.1.3 Controller signal interface 1

5.4Suddenly stop emitting light during processing

The monitoring interface checks whether thesafety lock and other alarms are normal, and at the same time checks whetherthe temperature exceeds the temperature alarm threshold.
